Our female eagle, Hope, laid the Port Tobacco eagles’ first egg at about 4:45 on February 3. This egg arrived a little later than the first egg last year, which was laid on January 31. The eagles laid three eggs last year, but only two hatched. Last year’s eaglets fledged successfully, with many adventures in the nest along the way.
