Wade-In at Chapel Point State Park:

Come join us at the Port Tobacco River Conservancy’s 4th Annual Wade-In on Sunday, June 7, 2008, at Chapel Point State Park in Port Tobacco, MD, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Highlights of the event:

* Event led by Bernie Fowler & Tim Hutchins.

* See live raptors brought by Clearwater Nature Center.

* This event is being held in partnership with the Maryland Park Service.

* Wear your white sneakers!

Directions to the Wade-In:

Chapel Point State Park is approximately 5.5 miles west of La Plata on Chapel Point Road. Follow Route 6 West for 2 miles and turn left on to Chapel Point Road at Murphy’s store and continue another 3.5 miles.

The entrance to the park is a sharp right before St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
